When you arrive
Be sure you go to the office window and register to bid. If this is your first time at the sale, please have your driver's license handy.
We accept cash or check made payable to LaRue Horse and Tack Sale. We accept credit cards for an additional premium. Please be sure to pay for all purchases in full before leaving the sale barn. Be prepared to show proof of payment in the form of a receipt from the office.
We ask our consignors to be forthcoming and honest with all available information about consignments, but at the end of the day, all consignments are sold as is, with no warranties or guarantees.
A buyer at any sale must be diligent in examination of the consignment before it goes through the auction ring to be sure of what one is getting.The statements made in the auction ring take precedence over any statements made in any catalogs or online listings. The sale shall not be liable or responsible for any representation or misrepresentation made by owner or party entering consignments. The sale makes no guarantees to condition or qualities of consignments. There is no warranty as to the fitness of consignments for any particular purpose. When the auctioneer's gavel falls on the final bid, the consignment is sold. No consignments can be rejected by the purchaser or his/her agent for any circumstance nor for any reason.
Movement and Transportation of Horses
We prefer that horses are removed from the sale barn (after payment at the office) the day of the sale. We recommend that you have transportation arranged before the day of the sale. If you need to make other arrangements, please talk to staff in the office and we will help you work out a solution.
